Weeping (Sheok) 2021

'I walk past my neighbour’s window every night, and I see Liz Williams’ ceramic figure standing amongst the cacti, watching me. This daily connection was intensified by the act of drawing and interpretation of her sculptural mark making. This reminded me of how the passion expressed in an artist’s work can continue to talk to us long after they no longer can. Liz’s enduring presence remains.'
