Georgina Mills

Georgina Mills is a classically trained South Australian figurative sculptor who primarily works from life, generally the nude, interpreting her concepts in clay. This translation is then cast into another material, of which her preferred medium of choice is bronze.

Georgina has trained locally and internationally, where from 2015 until late 2020 she studied and then taught in Florence, Italy. Now back in Adelaide, Australia, her practice seeks to translate her technical skills in classical figurative sculpture into her own aesthetic to create works that connect profoundly with the viewer in modern Australia.

Georgina’s work is held in private collections in Milan and Florence, Italy; Spain; the US; Sweden and Australia.
